Weekly Double Decker Socials
Háskóladansinn, Lindy Ravers , and Sveiflustöðin have come together to offer Double Decker Swing Socials! On Wednesdays, we have rented out both floors of Tunglið Veislusalur (Lækjargata 2) from 20:00-22:00.
The 4th floor is our Lindy room with socials (and taster classes from 19:00-20:00) organized by Sveiflustöðin and Lindy Ravers.
The 3rd floor is our West Coast Swing room with socials organized by Háskóladansinn. Country Swing dancers are also welcome to the West Coast room.
Entrance to the social is included for students in Háskóladansinn classes!
Drop-in fee: 2.000kr
Danskvöldakort: 15.000kr – pass for those who want to come to the socials regularly but don’t want to take classes.
Special Events
Háskóladansinn also organise regular seasonal events, dance based or not!
Non dance-based events such as the welcome party, K-Pop karaoke, end-of-semester dinner etc… are reserved for our members!
Dancing events such as the Halloween party, Christmas party or end-of-the-year gala (árshátið) are open to all – with special bonuses for our members!
We exceptionally organise workshops with international guest teachers when the occasion arises.
