We are holding a K-Pop 
class with kicecrew for 5 weeks (starting September 21st) in Dansverkstæðið on Sundays from 19-20. In this course, you will be learning parts of of K-pop choreographies.
K-pop is known for its dance routines which incorporate various styles, with hip-hop being the most prominent. In this 5-week course course we welcome young adults to older K-pop fans and anyone wanting to know about and dance K-pop into our classes and create a safe space for adults to dance and share their love for K-pop. We are focusing on building a community of K-Pop lovers (and those who are curious) this semester. We plan on having fun events outside of classes to geek over our faves.
Our teachers are Amanda, Vala, and Dóra! Amanda is the main teacher this Fall and the cofounder of K-ICE. She is the original K-Pop teacher for Háskóladansinn and has been an active member between 2014-2018 and 2020-present. She will also be a guest teacher of WCS for 5 weeks. Alongside her, members of K-ICE, Vala and Dóra will be joining her in teaching this course. Dóra started as an HD member in 2020 and has been active throughout the past few years, and Vala has been an HD member since 2022. Vala also took over as the main teacher of K-Pop in 2024 with K-ICE cofounder Fríða. Both had been teaching with Amanda previously in 2023. Dóra is stepping in as a teach for the first time
